Since November 2025, Lao Lin, a father in Shanghai, has repeatedly posted extreme remarks that derogatory to his wife and parents-in-law in his son Xiaolin's class group, parent group and community owner group due to marital conflicts, causing Xiaolin to suffer tremendous psychological pressure. In July 2026, the Pudong New District Court determined that the behavior constituted mental abuse and domestic violence, and issued a personal safety protection order prohibiting Lao Lin from continuing to commit the abuse.
